Logan's Room

Here are a couple of pictures of Logan's room for those of you who haven't got to see it yet. We did sports theme....go figure. We kept the paint color on top the same and Andy put up chair rail and Grandpa Starkey helped him paint. We have a Broncos rug and to get my team in there I hung up my Packers jersey. We got golf clubs from Grandpa Meyer and used them as curtain rods. We hung shelves up and put Andy's old trophies, signed Reds baseballs, and some Purdue items. We will replace them with Logan's trophies. (unless he gets my athletic ability which is not good)

Bath Time

First bath at home

Sponge bath

First Bath in his tub (he looks like he is planning something big)

Logan loves taking a bath. It's the getting out part that he hates. It's because it's cold and we can't dry him off and dress him in 5 seconds like he would like. I don't blame him though. He is getting to be a pro at peeing out of his little tub inside the big tub. He gets that "look" and watch out! So then of course now what he is bathing in is a combination of soap and his pee. So we have to start all over. It makes me and Andy laugh every time. Those of you with boys understand this.

Grandma & Grandpa
We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. Thing have been pretty crazy these past few years and we couldn't have made it with out the love and support of all these people.

SMILE SMILE SMILE

Logan is now smiling. He had his first smile at about 3 weeks. And no it wasn't gas. Ask Aunt Lainie and Aunt Molly if you don't believe us. They were few and far between but now you can get him to smile all the time. When Andy kisses him good bye in the morning I am usually feeding him or just finishing. He is so happy at 5:30am (just like his dad, not like his mom) and Andy can get him going. No matter how tired we are that makes it all worth it.

And then there were THREE!!!!

We welcomed John Logan Meyer into the world on January 9, 2008. He was born at Greensburg hospital at 6:23pm weighing 7 pounds 9 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. It was the most amazing experience of our lives. After the second epidural attempt it was successful and all was good in the world. HAHA I felt no pain and was so relaxed and so excited. My parents were there along with Andys parents. My best friend KC came 4 hours calling Andy every few minutes making sure she didn't miss anything. We asked my mom, andy mom, and KC to be there in the room for the delivery. Grandpa Starkey and Grandpa Meyer were in the room but on the other side of the curtain. My dad stopped breathing as I was pushing. He was just so excited. As I sitting here typing this I am struggling to put the experience into words. You just can't. Amazing doesn't come close, wonderful doesn't either.......... I am so happy to belong to the "MOMMY CLUB" now!
